Hey there, welcome to Well with Janelle! I’m Janelle—a mom of four, a certified integrative nutrition health coach, and a lifelong wellness enthusiast. I grew up in the gym with my mom, who was a fitness instructor, and I was that weird kid who actually loved water and vegetables! From an early age, I saw how movement and nutrition impact our bodies, but it wasn’t until I became a mom that I truly understood how important those foundations are for lifelong health.
That’s why I homeschool my four kids—not just for academics, but to focus on their health, teaching them how to nourish their bodies, move daily, and build lifelong wellness habits. But even with my passion for wellness, I’ve had my own struggles. When my daughter first got sick, I had no idea how to support her naturally at home. When my husband had stomach pain, I felt just as helpless. That frustration led me to dive into healthy cooking, and ultimately, to become a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
I loved IIN for its holistic approach and the bio-individual philosophy that recognizes that each person is unique—no one-size-fits-all when it comes to health. This is why I’m so passionate about helping families figure out what works for their specific needs.
I’ve also been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over nine years straight, and during my pregnancies, my midwife was concerned about my iron levels. Thanks to my liquid prenatal with rapid absorption, I kept my iron and energy up without needing extra supplements, and it became a non-negotiable part of my routine.
Beyond nutrition, I learned the hard way how much our environment impacts our health. I battled mold toxicity, which drained my energy and well-being. That experience showed me how crucial it is to create a low-toxin home that supports long-term health.
Today, I’m proud to say that I now have natural remedies ready in my cabinet for whatever sniffles or stomach aches come our way. My husband’s gut health has drastically improved after incorporating these changes, and we’re all feeling better than ever.
This year, I’m focusing on prenatal and postpartum wellness, then tackling full family wellness—helping parents create a home where everyone thrives. Whether it’s through smart supplementation, nourishing food, movement, or designing a toxin-free home, I’m here to share the simple, practical steps that make a lasting impact.
My mission is simple: to empower parents to live longer, healthier lives and improve the health of future generations. By making small, sustainable changes today, we can improve not only our own lives but also the world our children will grow up in.
Fun fact: Before becoming a mom, I actually wanted to be an artist! I love doing charcoal portraits and watercolor paintings—a creative outlet I still enjoy in my free time.
